The Integrated Microbiome Resource (IMR) is an academic entity offering comprehensive and cost-effective sequencing and bioinformatic services to clients from all backgrounds. The IMR has operated out of Dalhousie University in Halifax NS, for the past 10 years under the direction of founder Dr. Morgan Langille and manager Dr. André Comeau. Over 750 clients from 41 countries have trusted us with their research projects and our efficient approaches have allowed us to process over 275,000 samples.
We offer basic services like DNA extraction and genome sequencing, but our speciality is in microbiome profiling via amplicon sequencing, metagenomics, and metatranscriptomics. Our infrastructure includes both Illumina and PacBio sequencing for both your short and long read needs.
