The Alberta Microbiota Repository (AMBR)

Dig into the Alberta Microbiota Repository (AMBR), a collection of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria and fungi gathered from diverse sources, including clinical samples from every niche of the human body from healthy volunteers. AMBR is located at the University of Calgary.

We’re in the process of updating our database with lots of new isolates, but we’re still able to accept requests in the meantime. Our new database will be available very soon!
